Dogstract, is a print of a large abstract painting that was created on a plywood foundation coated in high gloss resin. It was made in an attempt to escape the stress of the tedious process utilized in a series of cut and glued multi-layered canvas rockstar portraits for a corporate commission. I experienced complete freedom in creating it without a thought as to the subject matter. Balanced composition and child-like creative expression were my only goal. However, when finished and hung, I saw that an overgrown puppy face was the outcome of this fun exercise in creativity. Prints of this work are available in the Abstract Prints section of this website in a wide range of sizes, on a variety of different media types.
